Timothy J. Nealis, 63, entered into his eternal rest on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at his home in the Town of Lincoln.

Tim was born on December 12, 1953 to Jeanne and Matthew Nealis. He was a 1973 graduate of Marshfield High School and had served in the Wisconsin National Guard. He married Lynn Berry and they later divorced. On May 23, 1981, he married Gina Bump. Together they became 5th generation farmers at their current home. They retired from the profession in the mid 1990’s. Tim began his self-employment career in technologies. He then followed his father’s legacy in Ham radio and received his father’s call sign K9WVL. He received many awards, including OM net control award and OM of the year in 2016, and recently was elected OMISS awards manager. He was a brilliant and hard working man, took pride in all he did and was a gifted handyman who could fix about anything. In his early years he enjoyed fishing and in recent years hunting with a close friend.

Those who knew Tim understood he was a kind hearted, generous and down to earth man and always took time to help others, continuously giving of himself. Tim was additionally a man of strong conviction and a hero to his daughters especially.

He loved animals and was particularly fond of his old Australian shepherd “Putter”.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Gina and his children, Robin (Dave) Rode, Kim (Jim) Wells and three grandchildren, Gavin, Lohden and Grayden. He is further survived by brothers, Neal Nealis and Pat (Diane) Nealis, and his current canine buddies, Kenny, Jack and Fluke and nieces and nephews.

Tim was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Carol, and his brother, Perry.

Family and friends will gather privately to remember and honor Tim’s life.

The family would like to give a special thank you to the caring personnel of Rembs Funeral Home in Marshfield for their compassion and assistance with cremation arrangements.

Condolences may be sent online to www.rembsfh.com
