Patrick A. Heintz, 81, Marshfield, died on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at House of the Dove, Marshfield.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Marshfield, where the visitation will be from 9:00 am on Saturday until service time. Rev. Savarimuthu Selvalaj and Deacon Ray Draeger will officiate. Burial will take place in Gate of Heaven Cemetery and grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.

Patrick was born on May 12, 1936 in Marshfield, to Alfred and Sabina (Stockheimer) Heintz and was a graduate of Marshfield Senior High School.  He was a veteran of the United Stated Army. He married Kathleen A. Canney on October 6, 1962 at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church.  She died on January 15, 1995.  He had been employed as a purchase and supply clerk at Marshfield Book and Stationary, Marshfield Homes, Schreiner Plumbing and then at Marshfield Convalescent Center for 15 years until his retirement in June 1996.

Pat enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed mowing his lawn and keeping up his house. He rarely missed a Nascar race on Sunday. He was a faithful patron of Melody Gardens for breakfast every morning. His dog Leo was always by his side.

Pat is survived by his children Mark Allen (Marie) Heintz of Marshfield, Lori Ann (John) Pedersen of Hudson, and Dean Andrew (Laurel) Heintz of Marshfield. He is survived by 5 grandchildren, Ashley (Jon)

Freese, Chad Heintz, Issac Larson, Tucker Heintz, and Hope Pedersen. He was predeceased by his parents, his wife, Kathleen and siblings, Lawrence Heintz, Anita Sipes, Delores Bauernfeind and Marie Wetzel.

Memorials may be designated in Pat’s name to House of the Dove.
