MARSHFIELD — The Marshfield Convention & Visitors Bureau will host nationally recognized tourism professionals the Roger Brooks International Team this May for a tourism assessment study of the area. The study will help identify marketing, tourism, planning, and development opportunities for the area to attract more visitors and economic development.

The Roger Brooks Team has completed similar studies for over 1,500 destinations nationwide and internationally. In Wisconsin the Roger Brooks Team has recently studied areas such as the Fox Cities and Manitowish Waters.

The Marshfield Convention & Visitors Bureau has been awarded a Joint Effort Marketing Grant of $18,000 from the Wisconsin State Department of Tourism to help fund this study.

A special Tourism Assessment Findings Workshop will take place at Hotel Marshfield on May 26 from 7:30-10:30 a.m. Limited seats are available and open to the public.
