Altmann has two hits for Apaches

AUBURNDALE — Pittsville remains unbeaten in the Marawood Conference South Division after beating Auburndale 11-1 on Tuesday at Auburndale High School.
The Panthers (14-2, 8-0 Marawood South) scored three times in the first inning and put the game away with a seven-run sixth inning as the game ended via the 10-run rule.
Auburndale (6-4, 4-4 Marawood South) was limited to five hits. Ryan Isaacson drove in the Apaches’ lone run.
Auburndale plays at Marathon on Thursday.
