Columbus Catholic baseball knocks off Gilman
Dons improve to 2-4

MARSHFIELD — Ryan Dieringer, Jarred Mandel, and Bryce Fuerlinger each had two hits as the Marshfield Columbus Catholic baseball team beat Gilman 8-4 in a Cloverbelt Conference East Division game on Tuesday at Jack Hackman Field.
The Dons (2-4, 2-3 Cloverbelt East) scored single runs in the first, second, fourth, and fifth innings and added four more in the sixth to open up an 8-0 lead.
Gilman scored four times in the top of the seventh before Calvin Brown was able to get the final out to preserve the win for Columbus.
The Dons play at Spencer on Thursday.
