Greenwood shuts out Columbus Catholic softball

Dons held to two hits in road loss

GREENWOOD — Greenwood scored all of its runs in the first three innings and went on to blank Marshfield Columbus Catholic 21-0 in a Cloverbelt Conference East Division softball game Friday.
Three Dons pitchers combined to walk 15 batters, and Columbus also committed five errors in the loss.
Sierra Litwaitis had a double for one of the Dons’ two hits in the loss.
Columbus Catholic (1-2, 0-2 Cloverbelt East) hosts Gilman on Tuesday at 5 p.m. at the Marshfield Fairgrounds.
