Adverse Childhood Experiences Study documentary being screened May 1

MARSHFIELD — From 6-7:30 p.m. on May 1, Marshfield Clinic Center for Community Outreach, Marshfield Area Coalition for Youth, Healthy People Wood County, and Wood County Health Department will be hosting a free showing of “Resilience” at Marshfield Clinic Froehlke Auditorium, Laird Building for Medical Research. A postshowing discussion will be facilitated by Marshfield Clinic Child Advocacy Center and Youth Net staff.

“Resilience” is a documentary that features the Adverse Childhood Experiences Study, showing the effects of toxic stress on children, families, and communities and solutions to the problem.

Child care and snacks will be provided at no cost. To register, go to surveymonkey.com/r/ResilRSVP, or contact Courtney Boeger at 715-221-8400 or [email protected] Space is limited to the first 200 individuals registered.
