Spencer baseball edges Loyal in extra innings
Rockets improve to 3-0

LOYAL — The Spencer baseball team won its third-straight game to start the season, beating Loyal 4-2 in eight innings on Monday at Loyal High School.
Carson Hildebrandt had two hits and two RBIs, and Caden Schillinger had a single and two doubles to lead Spencer (3-0 overall and Cloverbelt Conference East Division) at the plate.
Hunter Luepke was the winning pitcher and added a single, two walks, and three stolen bases offensively for Spencer.
The Rockets jump back into action Tuesday at Greenwood.
