Featured MAPS pet of the week: Wally
By Kaitlin Loberg
Shelter Manager
My name is Wally. I was surrendered to the shelter because of unforeseen circumstances in my previous owner’s life.
I am a very happy boy who loves to run, jump, and play all day. I love squeaky toys and playing fetch. I also have a dog friend who comes to visit the shelter sometimes, and I love chasing her around the yard. I am very good at sharing my toys, treats, and food with others.
I walk pretty well on the leash, but I do like to wander a little bit. I also like to jump up on people because I get very excited to see them, and the volunteers at the shelter are working with me on this. I am told that I am very smart, though, and a very quick learner, especially when there are tasty treats involved. Even though I weigh in at 43 pounds, I am convinced I am a lap dog and should be in your lap whenever you are sitting down.
If interested in adopting, visit www.MarshfieldPetShelter.org/adopt, and complete the online adoption application. Once an application is received, an appointment will be arranged to meet Wally.
