SPENCER — The Spencer baseball team won its second-straight game to start the season, beating Granton 14-4 in a Cloverbelt Conference East Division game Tuesday at Spencer High School.

Dom Wichlacz was the winning pitcher for the Rockets, who are now 2-0 overall and in the conference. The game was Granton’s season opener.

Tanner Kleinschmidt had two singles, Hunter Luepke had a single and a steal of home plate, and Carson Hildebrandt had an RBI for the Rockets.

Spencer is off until Monday when it plays at Loyal.
