Featured MAPS pet of the week: Tessa

By Vicki Riedel

Hi, my name is Tessa. I am a sweet polydactyl gal looking for my one and only to help me get back to my hour glass figure.
I am what you would call “a full figured girl.” I have a really cool exercise wheel in my spacious suite at the shelter, but it is taking some real coaxing to get me to use it. I could really use some one-on-one time with my new family — and maybe an active playmate — to get me moving again.
I am very beautiful inside and out, but I can be a bit shy with new people. I know if someone would give me a chance, I promise you can brush and pet me all day long, and I will give lots of love and purrs in return.
If you would like to meet me, please let my wonderful caregivers know, and they will be more than happy to have you come visit me. Hope to see you soon.
If interested in adopting, please visit the Marshfield Area Pet Shelter’s Adoption Center located across from Furniture & ApplianceMart inside Marshfield Mall. The Adoption Center is open from 4:30-6 p.m. Monday-Friday and Saturday 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. To view all adoptable pets and complete an online adoption application, go to www.MarshfieldPetShelter.org/adopt.
