Bryan wins three events as Marshfield rolls to team title at home girls track indoor invite

Aumann, Rhodes also win events for Tigers

MARSHFIELD — Marshfield won eight events to cruise to the team title at the 2017 Marshfield Girls Indoor Track & Field Invitational on Thursday at Marshfield High School.

Junior Meg Bryan won three events for the Tigers, taking first in the 60-yard dash (7.90 seconds), 220-yard run (29.53), and the long jump (16 feet 4¼ inches).

Also winning individual events for Marshfield were Alexa Aumann in the 440 (1:06.06) and Stephanie Rhodes in the high jump (5-0).

Marshfield won three of the four relays, taking first in the 640 (1:26.32), 1,280 (3:08.14), and the 1,600 (4:32.99).

Marshfield racked up 156.93 points, Rib Lake was second with 91.5, and Medford finished third with 81.86.

Taking second for Marshfield were Maddie Nikolai in the 60 hurdles (10.09), Shantel Nienast in the high jump (4-10), Gracie Holland in the pole vault (9-0), and Katie Osinski in the shot put (34-1).

Marshfield will host its annual indoor relay invitational on Tuesday.
