Dear editor,

I am writing in support of the candidacy of my friend and colleague Ruwan Dissanayake for the Marshfield School Board in the April 4 election. I think he would be a great addition to the board because he is smart, hardworking, and engaged in the community.

I have worked with Ruwan for several years at Marshfield Clinic and can assure you that he has a lot to offer. He is well liked and respected by people that work with him on a daily basis. I have served on the clinic board with him for the past two years, and he is always well prepared, asks good questions, and expresses his opinions clearly and thoughtfully. He is a devoted father and participates actively in the education of his children in the Marshfield school system and their many extracurricular activities.

Vote for Ruwan Dissanayake April 4.
