Sunday, Feb. 19

Man robbed near Cleveland and Doege

Police received a report at 1:29 a.m. that a Marshfield man was pushed to the ground near the intersection of Cleveland Street and Doege Street, $300 fell from his hand when he was pushed, and the suspect picked up the money and fled.

The suspect was identified as a 19-year-old Marshfield man. The 19-year-old was arrested and later transported to Wood County Jail.

Monday, Feb. 20

Marshfield woman taken into custody for battery – domestic abuse

Police responded at 7:23 p.m. to a report of an altercation on the 2200 block of S. Maple Ave. A 31-year-old Marshfield woman was taken into custody for battery – domestic abuse, booked, and transported to Wood County Jail after being unable to post bond. A 72-hour no-contact period will be enforced. Charges were referred to the Wood County district attorney’s office.

Wednesday, Feb. 22

Unauthorized Rogaine purchase reported

A Marshfield woman reported at 9:11 a.m. that someone made an unauthorized purchase of $90.94 worth of female Rogaine with her debit card. The woman had already taken the proper steps of contacting her bank, and her card had been cancelled. She did not suffer any monetary loss.

Incarcerated man violates bond

A Marshfield woman reported that she was being contacted by a 31-year-old Marshfield man, which was a violation of the man’s bond. The man is currently incarcerated, and the jail was told to block the man from calling the woman. Charges are being requested through the Wood County DA.

Police perform three warrant pickups

Police took a 27-year-old Marshfield man into custody on the 500 block of S. Maple Ave. at 3:25 p.m. for having three Marshfield warrants and one valid Wood County warrant. He was later transported to Wood County Jail.

At 2:44 p.m. police took a 38-year-old Marshfield woman into custody for a valid Marshfield warrant and a valid Wood County warrant. She was unable to post the required bond amount of $1,319.50 and was transported to Wood County Jail.

An officer was dispatched to Municipal Court in Marshfield to arrest a 26-year-old woman for a valid Wood County warrant. She was booked at the Marshfield Police Department and — after not being able to post bond — was transported to jail.

Friday, Feb. 24

Man taken into custody for hit-and-run, obstructing

Police took a 46-year-old Marshfield man into custody for hit-and-run and obstructing an officer. He was brought to the Marshfield Police Department, where booking procedures were completed, and later released.
