WAUKESHA — Marshfield High School teacher Janeen Dietsche has received a 2017 Accounting Career Awareness Grant from the Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants (WICPA) Educational Foundation Inc.

Teachers who attended the fall 2016 WICPA High School Educators Symposium had the opportunity to write proposals about why they should receive funding from the foundation. Dietsche is one of 40 teachers to receive a grant.

Dietsche will use the grant to take her students on field trips to Culver’s and Epic Systems Corporation to learn about the effect of accounting in a service franchise and a medical software company.
