MARSHFIELD — Tyler Fuerlinger hit the 30-point mark for the third-straight game to help the Marshfield Columbus Catholic boys basketball team to an 88-44 rout of Greenwood on Tuesday night at Columbus Catholic High School.

With the victory, Columbus Catholic improves to 19-0 overall and 14-0 in the Cloverbelt Conference East Division, clinching at least a tie for the conference championship with two games remaining.

The Dons can wrap up the outright Cloverbelt East title with a win at second-place Loyal on Friday or at home against Neillsville on Monday. Columbus has now won or shared the conference title five times since 2010, including winning it outright last season with a perfect 16-0 record.

Fuerlinger finished with 32 points, Hunter Schultz added 17, and Nick Malovrh had 13 in the win for the Dons.

Columbus poured in 59 points to take a 30-point lead into halftime and put the game away early.
