Stratford boys basketball cruises past Athens

Three Tigers score 14 in home win

STRATFORD — Three Stratford players scored in double figures as the Tigers ripped Athens 69-41 in a nonconference boys basketball game Monday night at Stratford High School.

Brenden Fecker, Cole Hoffman, and Vaughn Breit each scored 14 points for the Tigers, who are now 11-7 this season. Athens falls to 2-17.

Breit added eight rebounds, and Fecker had five steals and four assists for Stratford.

Stratford plays at Wausau Newman Catholic on Thursday.
