Stratford girls basketball efficient in win over Northland Lutheran

Griesbach leads Tigers with 16 points, seven assists

STRATFORD — Eight different Tigers scored, and Stratford shot 53 percent on its way to a 57-20 rout of Northland Lutheran in a Marawood Conference South Division girls basketball game Thursday night at Stratford High School.

Sammy Griesbach was 8 of 9 from the floor to put up a game-high 16 points for Stratford (14-6, 7-4 Marawood South). Griesbach also had seven assists and four rebounds, and Andie Zuelke had 12 points and 12 rebounds.

Griesbach and Zuelke each had eight points, and Taya Nett had a pair of 3-pointers and seven points in the first half as Stratford ran out to a 37-10 lead.

Stratford made 23 of 32 shots from the floor and had 15 assists in the win.

The Tigers wrap up their Marawood South schedule Saturday at Auburndale. The game will start at 7:15 p.m.
