Gary M. Witt Jr., 60, Marshfield, passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2017 at his home.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm on Friday, February 10, 2017 at Rembs Funeral Home, where the family will receive relatives and friends until 8:00 pm.  Rev. Mark Krueger will officiate.

Gary was born on May 30, 1956 in Marshfield, the son of Gary M. and Ellen (Marg) Witt Sr.

He married Sharon Kremer on May 26, 1984. They enjoyed 32 wonderful years together.

Gary worked in heavy truck equipment sales and enjoyed the friendships he developed with customers throughout Wisconsin, retiring in September 2016. He was an avid outdoorsman and achieved one of his dreams, being Captain of his fishing boat in Algoma where he spent relaxing times fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon, a son, Josh (Mandy) Witt and their daughter, Piper of Marshfield, a daughter, Tiffany (Greg) Redner of Texas and their son who is expected in March, and a son, Jeremy (Shari) Witt of Arpin. He is further survived by sisters, Cindy Witt of Marshfield, Lisa (Carl) Pongratz of Stratford and Sherri Witt of Marshfield, his mother-in-law, Valeria Kremer of Vesper and numerous nieces, nephews, and sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and Pat Niehaus.

He was predeceased by his father-in-law, John Kremer and a grandson, Parker Redner.

In lieu of flowers the family will designate a memorial in Gary’s name.
