Columbus Catholic girls basketball tops Greenwood for third-straight win

Baierl pulls down 12 rebounds in Dons’ victory

MARSHFIELD — Morgan Albrecht had 14 points, seven rebounds, and three assists to help the Marshfield Columbus Catholic girls basketball team to a 56-48 victory over Greenwood in a Cloverbelt Conference East Division game Friday night at Columbus Catholic High School.

The Dons have won three games in a row and are now 12-7 overall and 8-6 in the Cloverbelt East. Greenwood falls to 5-10 and 4-8 in the Cloverbelt East.

Marissa Immerfall added 12 points and seven rebounds, making 6 of 8 shots from the field, and Kendra Baierl had a game-high 12 rebounds in the victory for Columbus.

Kassidy Lamovec made three 3-pointers and finished with a game-high 20 points for Greenwood.

Columbus Catholic’s next game is Thursday at Loyal.
