SPENCER — The Spencer girls basketball team was held to 14 percent shooting and dropped a 66-26 decision to Owen-Withee in a Cloverbelt Conference East Division game Thursday night at Spencer High School.

The Rockets made just 7 of 50 shots from the field and missed all nine of their 3-point attempts in the loss, their sixth defeat in a row.

Owen-Withee (13-4, 9-4 Cloverbelt East) raced out to a 42-12 lead by halftime to put the game away early.

Jennifer Wendler had 25 points and 12 rebounds in the victory for the Blackhawks.

Lexi Baehr had half of Spencer’s points, scoring 13 on 3 of 15 shooting.

Spencer (7-12, 5-9 Cloverbelt East) hosts Neillsville on Friday for Senior Night in its final conference home game.
