ABBOTSFORD — Abbotsford shot nearly 50 percent from the field and held off Spencer 51-44 in a nonconference girls basketball game Monday at Abbotsford High School.

The Falcons shot 48 percent (23 of 48) of their shots to overcome Spencer’s 5-1 advantage on 3-pointers. The Rockets, on the other hand, only made 17 of 52 shots from the floor (32 percent).

Lexi Baehr scored 19 points, making 4 of 9 from 3-point range, and had five rebounds for Spencer (7-10), which lost its fourth game in a row.

Sadie Gunderson led Abbotsford (11-5) with 13 points.

Spencer plays at first-place Loyal in a Cloverbelt Conference East Division game Tuesday.
