SPENCER — The Spencer girls basketball team dropped its third-straight game, losing to Greenwood 59-51 in a Cloverbelt Conference East Division contest Thursday night at Spencer High School.

Spencer (7-9, 5-7 Cloverbelt East) shot 24 percent from floor, making only 13 of 54 shots. The Rockets were able to get to the free throw line frequently — as Greenwood committed 25 fouls — but made only 22 of 40 shots at the line.

Lexi Baehr scored 26 points, and Liz Endreas added 11 for the Rockets before each fouled out. Baehr was 13 of 18 at the free throw line while the rest of the team was only 9 of 22.

Kassidy Lamoec led Greenwood (3-9, 3-7 Cloverbelt East) with 15 points.

Spencer plays at Abbotsford as part of a girls-boys nonconference doubleheader on Monday. The girls game starts at 6 p.m. with the boys to follow at approximately 7:45 p.m.
