Assumption edges Auburndale girls basketball
Raab leads Apaches with 10 points

WISCONSIN RAPIDS — Wisconsin Rapids Assumption held Auburndale to just 14 points in the second half and outlasted the Apaches 38-35 in a Marawood Conference South Division girls basketball game Friday night at Assumption High School.
Auburndale were ahead 21-18 at halftime but could not hold onto the lead. The Apaches fall to 6-7 overall and 3-4 in the Marawood South, and Assumption is now 6-8 and 4-4 in the conference.
Mackenzie Raab led Auburndale with 10 points.
Auburndale plays a nonconference game at Greenwood on Monday.
