Edgar pulls away to top Spencer boys basketball
Rockets fall to 4-7 with home loss

SPENCER — After a low-scoring first half, Edgar outscored Spencer by 10 in the second 18 minutes and beat the Rockets 56-42 in a nonconference boys basketball game Friday night at Spencer High School.
Edgar led 18-14 at halftime before pulling away in the second half.
Edgar (10-1) had 17 second-chance points and made five 3-pointers in the win.
Jack Bezlyk scored 24 points and grabbed eight rebounds for Spencer (4-7).
Tyler Engel had 24 points to lead all Wildcats.
Spencer plays at undefeated Marshfield Columbus Catholic on Tuesday.
