Hub City Times’ publication date to move to Wednesday
Letter from the editor
Dear reader,
The arrival of a new year often comes with changes and new beginnings. The staff here at the Hub City Times will transition in the new year as we move up the day our printed publication reaches you, so you receive it earlier in the week.
Beginning Wednesday, Jan. 18, this publication will be available on Wednesdays, allowing you more time in the week to read and use the information you receive.
We are making this change for several reasons:
1. It has come to our attention that you value our printed news on your doorstep more highly if it comes earlier in the week so it does not get lost in the end-of-week shuffle.
2. Our advertisers have asked to have their message in your hands sooner to give you information on groceries and other consumer decisions.
These seem to be true for most or even all the MMC Local weekly newspapers, so they will be clustered for publication in the same midweek time frame. We are confident this will serve your needs better as well as those of the entire Marshfield area community.
As before, we will continue to provide a digital edition with daily updates, as well as social media postings, as a complement to our weekly print edition.
Please feel free to contact us with any suggestions, questions, or concerns. We are committed to listening to your needs and meeting them as part of our communitywide legacy of service.
Our best,
Kris Leonhardt
