MARSHFIELD — Marshfield is in the process of updating the Comprehensive Plan, the city’s master plan for the future, and the Development Services Department is providing an opportunity for citizens to be involved in the process. The Comprehensive Plan is updated every 10 years, so this is a unique opportunity to provide input on Marshfield’s future.

To assist in that effort, Marshfield Clinic will host a forum with Marshfield City Planner Josh Miller to get feedback, focusing on issues impacting health care and the medical professionals.

The forum will be held in Marshfield Clinic’s Conference Room No. 5 — fourth floor of the East Wing of the clinic, 1001 N. Oak Ave. — on Jan. 16 from noon to 1 p.m.

People’s hopes and concerns for Marshfield as well as what they envision for Marshfield’s future will be discussed. The primary purpose of the forum is to gather feedback from the medical community, but all are welcome to attend.

Questions discussed during the forum may include but are not limited to the following: What do you find appealing about the city of Marshfield and the community in general? What are your biggest concerns about where you live and spend your leisure time? What can the city do to improve the overall health of the community?

For more information about the upcoming forum, contact Josh Miller at 715-486-2075 or [email protected]
