MARSHFIELD — Marshfield High School will hold two registration events for the 2017-2018 school year.
All students currently attending private schools, home school, or seeking open enrollment are invited to attend the annual registration session on Jan. 30 from 6-7 p.m. in classrooms 10-11 at Marshfield High School. Enter the doors — labeled No. 1 — to the right of the main office across from the counseling office.
Students who are considering Marshfield High School and those planning to attend are welcome to the meeting. All information and materials necessary for registering will be distributed. Following the presentation, parents and students will have the opportunity to tour Marshfield High School.
Those unable to attend the meeting should contact Marshfield High School’s counselor office at 715-387-4332 to set up an appointment. Registration information will also be available on the high school website in January.
Marshfield High School will run its main registration event, Tiger Course Hunt, on Feb. 6. Tiger Course Hunt is a time for all students and parents to speak with teachers about specific course offerings for the coming year, hear first-hand information regarding classes, and discuss recommendations. This event will occur in the fieldhouse from 3:30-7:30 p.m. Counselors will be available in the commons as well.
Registration for summer school will occur separately. The registration window will begin the week of Jan. 30 and will be an online format. Students who are new to the district will need to contact Janet Meyer in the Marshfield High School main office — 715-387-8464 — to register for summer school courses.
Registration will be staggered so that students are able to select courses based on grade level. Seniors will be first, followed by juniors, sophomores, and then freshmen.
