SPENCER — Edgar shot 54 percent and made 12 more baskets than Spencer in a 67-48 victory in nonconference girls basketball action Tuesday night at Spencer High School.

Edgar was 29 of 54 from the field while holding Spencer to 17 of 35. Despite making five more 3-pointers (6-1) than the Wildcats, Spencer was unable to overcome the overall shooting discrepancy and a 20-point halftime deficit.

Lexi Baehr scored more than half of the Rockets’ points, piling up 27 on 9 of 13 shooting and 6 of 9 from 3-point range. The rest of the Spencer team was just 8 of 22 from the field. Courtney Buss added 11 points.

Macey Wirkus led Edgar (6-5) with 19 points.

Spencer (5-6) hosts Granton in a Cloverbelt Conference East Division game Thursday.
