Columbus Catholic boys basketball blows past Marathon

Dons improve to 9-0

MARATHON — The Marshfield Columbus Catholic boys basketball team made 15 3-pointers and cruised to an 88-68 win over Marathon in a nonconference game Tuesday night at Marathon High School.
Nick Malovrh had a season-high 30 points, Hunter Schultz added 28, and Tyler Fuerlinger scored 20 for the Dons, who are now 9-0 overall.
Columbus led 38-26 at halftime before exploding for a 50-point second half to put the game away.
The Dons jump back into Cloverbelt Conference East Division action Thursday at Greenwood.
