Marshfield boys basketball blasts Chippewa Falls to end losing skid

Posteluk tops Tigers with 17 points

CHIPPEWA FALLS — The Marshfield boys basketball team snapped a five-game losing streak with a 58-38 victory over Chippewa Falls on Thursday night at Chippewa Falls High School.

The Tigers improve to 3-6. Chippewa Falls drops to 2-5.

Ethan Posteluk made 7 of 12 shots from the field and had a team-high 17 points for Marshfield. Seth Anderson added 14 poitns and eight rebounds for the Tigers.

Marshfield led 29-17 at halftime and maintained its advantage in the second half.

Marshfield is off until Jan. 6 when it hosts D.C. Everest
