Chinese delegates visit Marshfield School District

MARSHFIELD — An eight-member delegation of Chinese education officials visited Marshfield Dec. 15 to meet with school and city leaders. The visit was organized in conjunction with the Marshfield International Student Exchange Program (MISEP).
During their visit, the delegates met with Mayor Chris Meyer and toured Marshfield City Hall. The group also visited Madison Elementary, Marshfield Middle School, and Marshfield High School.
MISEP began in April 2015 when Marshfield school officials visited China to begin an international relationship.
The school district recently hired Marshfield native Anna Chapman to act as MISEP coordinator.
