MARSHFIELD — TRISIS Vintage Vocal Trio will perform Thursday, Dec. 8, at Froehlke Auditorium, Marshfield Clinic Laird Center for Medical Research, 1000 N. Oak Ave. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. with the performance beginning at 7 p.m. The concert featuring traditional music will support medical residents’ clinical research at Marshfield Clinic.

A $50 donation is suggested. Proceeds up to $10,000 will be matched by Dr. Tom Nikolai in memory of his wife, Hilda, to benefit the Nikolai Endowment in Resident Clinical Research at Marshfield Clinic. Nikolai is a retired Marshfield Clinic endocrinologist.

Education endowments are founded with the intent of furthering the education of Marshfield Clinic students, staff, and physicians to provide communities with quality health care.

Singing sister group TRISIS blends voices in sweet harmonies inspired by sister acts of the mid-20th century. The song styles of TRISIS encompass the American Songbook, traditional classics, and original compositions. TRISIS has been performing for audiences since 2011 and has released two CDs. The sisters are accompanied by their father on guitar.

Reserve tickets at marshfieldclinic.org/giving/concert or by calling Mary Beth Knoeck at 715-389-3258.
