Zuelke’s double-double pushes Stratford girls basketball past Colby

Tigers improve to 3-0

COLBY — Andie Zuelke had 18 points and 15 rebounds, and Kaylee Hollatz added 11 points and eight rebounds to lead the Stratford girls basketball team to a 57-42 win over Colby in a nonconference game Tuesday night at Colby High School.

Stratford is now 3-0. Colby falls to 1-2.

Stratford jumped out to a 25-16 lead by halftime and held on from there, outscoring the Hornets by six in the second half.

Zuelke was just 5 of 15 from the field but made 8 of 12 free throws to finish with 18 points.

Overall, Stratford was 21 of 39 at the free throw line.
