Columbus Catholic girls basketball suffers first loss

Dons host Granton on Thursday

WISCONSIN RAPIDS — The Marshfield Columbus Catholic girls basketball team suffered its first loss of the season, falling 56-38 to Wisconsin Rapids Assumption in the championship game of the Cranberry Classic on Saturday afternoon at Assumption High School.

Game statistics were not provided.

The Dons are now 4-1 this season and will host Granton in a Cloverbelt Conference East Division game Thursday.
