William W. “Bill” Lobner, 64, Sherry, passed away peacefully at home in the comfort of his favorite chair on Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2016.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2016 at St. Kilian’s Catholic Church, Blenker, with Rev. Jesse Burish officiating. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery and serving as pallbearers will be Dennis “Pete” Brandl, Hal Richardson, Gary Imhoff, Dennis Raab, Al Berkholtz and Dale Richardson. The visitation will be held on Monday from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Rembs Funeral Home, Marshfield, and on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until service time at St. Kilian’s Catholic Church.

Bill was born on Dec. 22, 1951 in Marshfield to Clarence and Adeline (Gebelein) Lobner and was a 1970 graduate of Auburndale High School. He married Debra Jisko on Sept. 2, 1972. They later divorced.

Bill was employed for almost 40 years at Domtar Paper Mill in Nekoosa until his retirement. He enjoyed traveling, Allis Chalmers tractors, Spending time with family and adored his grandchildren.

Bill is survived by three children, John Lobner of Spencer, Amy (Michael) Krokstrom of Kaukauna, and Chad (Erin) Lobner of Richmond, VA. He is also survived by five grandchildren, who were the light of his life, Nathan, Olivia, Brayden, Jaxon and Liam. He is further survived by a special friend, Marilyn Castleberg of Tennessee, a sister-in-law, Joyce Lobner and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was predeceased by his parents and five brothers, Richard, Glenn, Arnold, Kenneth and Dale Lobner.
