Donahue, Dick win events for Tigers

SCHOFIELD — The Marshfield boys swim team won three events but lost its season-opening dual meet at D.C. Everest on Tuesday 95-74.

Ben Donahue won the 50-yard freestyle in 25.97 seconds, and Jacob Dick took first in the 100 breaststroke in 1:16.30 for Marshfield’s two individual event wins.

Donahue, Eric Tollefson, Scott Thompson, and Alec Brenner teamed to win the 200 medley relay in 2:00.32 for the Tigers’ other win.

Marshfield returns to action Dec. 1 at Wisconsin Rapids.
