MARSHFIELD — Following previous success of the Marshfield International Student Exchange Program (MISEP), the School District of Marshfield is moving forward in the planning of the 2017-2018 academic year as outreach for host families has begun.

MISEP exists to bring together students of varying cultural and educational backgrounds. Integrating international students into American culture provides a unique and rewarding experience for all parties involved. There has been an overwhelming amount of international interest, and securing homes for these students is the cornerstone of a successful program.

Host families receive monetary reimbursement for expenses. Interested parties will complete an application and background check. There is a recommended application deadline of Monday, Nov. 28. Anyone interested should contact Anna Chapman, MISEP coordinator, at chapman@marshfieldschools.org. For more information visit marshfieldschools.org/Page/361.
