Cowden, Hall combine for 36 saves in goal for PRM

WAUSAU — The Point-Rapids-Marshfield co-op girls hockey team opened its 2016-2017 season with a 6-0 loss to the Central Wisconsin Storm on Tuesday at Marathon Park.

Maggie Plaza had two goals, and Emma Kysely had a goal and two assists for the Storm.

Point-Rapids-Marshfield was held to 11 shots on goal, all of which were saved by Chloe Westberg.

Pistol Cowden had 26 saves, and Madi Hall had another 10 in goal for PRM.

Point-Rapids-Marshfield plays at Baraboo on Saturday.
