Josephine Haffenbredl

Josephine Haffenbredl, 85, died with family by her side on Saturday, Nov. 5, 2016 at Atrium Post Acute Care, Marshfield.

Burial took place in the parish cemetery and serving as pallbearers were Donnie Sejbl, Brian, Noah, Jacob, Tanner and Adam Haffenbredl and Nick Hamus.

Josephine was born on March 18, 1931 in Marshfield to Joseph and Rose (Grassl) Linzmeier. She was a graduate of St. Kilian’s Parochial School, Blenker. She married Phillip D. Haffenbredl on Oct. 26, 1954 in Blenker. He died on Sept. 15, 2009. They resided in Milladore and farmed until retirement. She enjoyed gardening, canning, listening to polka music and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Phillip (Diane) Haffenbredl, Jr. of Stevens Point, Richard (Lori) Haffenbredl of Stratford, Carol Hamus of Marshfield, Ronald (Tammy) Haffenbredl of Loyal, Rose (Warren) Marzolf of Arpin, Leon (Brenda) Haffenbredl of Stratford, Bernard Haffenbredl of Medford, Andy (Debbie) Haffenbredl of Auburndale, Danny (Betty) Haffenbredl of Milladore, Mary (Don) Sejbl of Stevens Point, Russell (Sherri) Haffenbredl of Milladore and Janet (Erv) Morzewski of Spencer. She is also survived by 30 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, a grandson, a son-in-law, Kevin Hamus and 13 brothers and sisters.

Memorials may be designated in her name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
