MARSHFIELD — Prospective students, their families, and the entire community are invited to explore the University of Wisconsin-Marshfield/Wood County during Preview Day Friday, Nov. 4.
Held from 12:30-4 p.m. in Room 131, attendees will have the chance to tour campus and meet faculty, staff, and current students. Special workshops will provide details about admissions, degree options, and the financial aid process.
“For high school juniors, seniors, and anyone who’s looking to continue their education, Preview Day is a great chance to get up close and personal with our campus and to ask questions of our faculty and staff,” said Keith Montgomery, dean and regional executive officer for UW Colleges North Region. “With the lowest tuition in the UW System, we’re a local, accessible college option for everyone in our community. Preview Day can help students decide if enrolling for spring or fall semester is right for them.”
Campus tours will include visits to labs and classrooms; athletic facilities; student common spaces; and music, theater, and arts areas. Advisors will also be on hand to discuss campus clubs, sports, and transfer opportunities, including UW-Marshfield/Wood County’s Guaranteed Transfer Program with all UW four-year campuses.
Attendees are encouraged to register prior to the event. Visit uwc.edu/campus-preview for additional dates, details, and to RSVP, or call 888-INFO-UWC.
