Dear editor,

For the past four years, we have been proud to support John Spiros in his position as state representative because he has proven to his constituents that he is willing to put their families first.

During the last budget cycle, Spiros opposed the proposed budget that called for changes to our state’s Family Care and IRIS programs. During a difficult budget cycle, he listened to his constituents and made sure that Wisconsin’s most vulnerable were made a priority.

In addition to helping to restore Family Care and IRIS, Spiros stood against the proposed cuts to Senior Care and helped to preserve it at current levels for the 89,000 seniors who rely on it to help pay for medications that may not be covered by Medicare.

These are just a few of the steps Spiros has taken over the last four years to make sure our state’s families, seniors, and disabled individuals receive the best our state has to offer. In this day and age, it is essential that we have people in office who are looking out for our families, and that is why we are voting to re-elect Spiros in the 86th Assembly District this fall.
