Loretta T. Hahn
Loretta T. Hahn, 87, Pittsville, beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother, went to heaven with her loved ones at her side Friday, Oct. 21, 2016, at Ministry St. Joseph’s Hospital Palliative Care, Marshfield.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2016, at St. Joachim Catholic Church, Pittsville, with Rev. Robert Nelson officiating. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery and Loretta’s grandsons will serve as pallbearers. The visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday at Buchanan / Rembs Funeral Home, Pittsville and Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until service time at St. Joachim Catholic Church.
Loretta was born April 19, 1929, in Blenker to Charles and Louisa (Altmann) Weinfurter and attended St. Kilian’s Parochial School. She was united in marriage to Arnold J. Hahn on Sept. 18, 1948. He died Nov. 11, 2001. The Hahn’s farmed in Pittsville in the Town of Wood, Wood County and operated Hahn Trucking and Hahn Transportation. Loretta cherished her family and was a devoted mother and grandmother. She enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, polka music and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Loretta is survived by her children, Beverly Fox of Marshfield, Bonnie (Bryan) Heuer of Pittsville, Daniel (Tami) Hahn of Pittsville, Nancy (Bruce) Zieher of Vesper and Sally (Pete) Petersen of Pittsville and daughters-in-law, Jane Hahn and Anna (John) Olig. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, Nicholas (Kristin) Hahn, Robert Hahn, Christopher (Rachel) Hahn, Nathan (Amy) Hahn, Kelly (Tony) Michels, Lindsey (Laura) Fox, Mark Fox (Katie), Jennifer (Brent) Hartsough, Chelsey Heuer, Samantha (Kevin) Mlodik, Zachary Heuer, Jacob (Elise) Hahn, Jared Hahn, Eric Hahn (Taylor), Bradley Zieher, Brittany (Dan) Hoffa, Ashley Petersen, Whitney (Jake) Frombach and Peter (Marissa) Petersen and by 14 great grandchildren, Eli, Owen, Delaney Hahn, Camden Hahn, Kaeden Hahn, Leighton and Landon Michels, Garrett, Brooklyn and Addison Hartsough, Payton and Capri Mlodik, Kendyl Zieher and Taelyn Frombach and 3 on the way. She is further survived by 4 brothers-in-law, Donald, William and Richard Hahn and Harvey Krings.
She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, 2 sons, Dale and Gerald Hahn, and siblings, Rose Pongratz, Agnes Buchanan, Dorothy Hollar, Ervin Weinfurter, Regina Stanke, Anna Hahn, Alfred Weinfurter, Margaret Weinfurter and Florence Krings.
She will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts. As grandma would say, “See you later alligator – after while crocodile.”
