Stratford volleyball sweeps Pacelli in WIAA Division 3 regional semifinal

Tigers host Marathon on Saturday in regional final

STRATFORD — The Stratford volleyball team will play for a regional championship Saturday after beating Stevens Point Pacelli 3-0 in a WIAA Division 3 regional semifinal Thursday night at Stratford High School.

The Tigers won 27-25, 26-24, 25-19 and will play Marawood Conference rival Marathon in a D-3 regional final Saturday at 7 p.m. at Stratford. The Tigers beat Marathon 3-1 back on Oct. 6.

Brooke Peterson had nine kills, 15 assists, and nine digs; Makayla Krall added seven kills, 13 digs, and four service aces; and Mazie Nagel had 16 digs for the Tigers.

Jadyn Dahlke had a team-high 18 assists and had two aces for Stratford.
