WAUSAU — Sophie Koehn and Ryenne Zee each won two individual events and teamed for a relay victory as the Marshfield girls swim team defeated Wausau West 102-67 in a Wisconsin Valley Conference dual meet Thursday at John Muir Middle School.

The win for the Tigers is their third-straight dual meet victory.

Koehn won the 200-yard freestyle (2:11.63) and the 100 backstroke (1:09.24), and Zee took first in the 50 freestyle (27.82) and 100 butterfly (1:06.60) for the Tigers.

Koehn and Zee combined with Ana Paape and Elizabeth Holbrook to win the 400 freestyle relay in 4:17.77.

Erika Roeglin won the 100 freestyle in 1:03.75 and finished just 0.02 seconds behind Zee in the 50 freestyle. Roeglin, Elise Ashby, Malina Barker, and Valerie Kushnir won the 200 freestyle relay in 2:00.71 for Marshfield.

Holbrook also won the 200 individual medley in 2:26.56 for the Tigers.

Marshfield (2-3 WVC) will wrap up its regular-season and Wisconsin Valley Conference schedule Tuesday at home against Wisconsin Rapids (2-3 WVC) in a dual that will determine fourth place in the final standings.
