Gabel rolls short of city record

Jed GabelIn Oct. 6 Thursday United Men league action at Rose Bowl Lanes, Jed Gabel rolled games of 290, 265, and 300 for an 855 series. Gabel nearly beat the Marshfield city series record, which he currently holds at 868. Gabel had a 213 average heading into the night of his 300 game and 855 series, and he has nine previously sanctioned 800 series as well as 19 perfect games. (Submitted photo)
