Stratford volleyball sweeps Auburndale

Tigers now 4-1 in Marawood South

STRATFORD — The Stratford volleyball team improved to 4-1 in the Marawood Conference South Division with a 3-0 sweep of Auburndale on Tuesday night at Stratford High School.

The Tigers won 25-19, 26-24, 25-18 to remain one game behind first-place Wausau Newman Catholic in the Marawood South standings. Auburndale falls to 2-3.

Stratford finishes its conference schedule at Marathon on Thursday. Auburndale is at Northland Lutheran.

Mazie Nagel had 13 kills and eight digs to lead the Tigers in both categories.

McKayla Krall added eight kills, Brooke Peterson had seven kills and a team-high 16 assists, and Jordyn Dahlke had 15 assists for Stratford.

Auburndale statistics were not provided.
