REEDSBURG — The Spencer volleyball team went 2-2 to finish third at the Reedsburg Invitational on Saturday at Reedsburg High School.

The Rockets’ wins came 29-27, 25-20 over Hillsboro and 22-25, 25-10, 15-8 over Adams-Friendship.

Jenna Schober finished with 32 kills and 38 digs, Jenna Rogers had 47 digs and six service aces, and Liz Endreas added 26 kills for the Rockets.

Setters Sadie Mercier and McKenzie Bainer had 37 and 28 assists, respectively.

“We played some really good teams, and we did not bring our ‘A’ game,” Spencer coach Buff Heller said. “When you face solid Division 1 teams, you have to play your best. Hopefully the solid competition helps us build as we head to the playoffs.

Spencer will play Colby at home on Tuesday.
