Marshfield freshman football scores late to beat Wisconsin Rapids
Tigers improve to 4-2

WISCONSIN RAPIDS — Sam Hinson ran for a touchdown and threw two more to Isaac Meverden, all in the final six minutes of the game, as the Marshfield freshman football team defeated Wisconsin Rapids 21-14 on Thursday at Lincoln High School.
Austin Kuhlka kicked all three extra points, Shane Westerhausen had an interception, and Jacob Kildahl recovered a fumble for the Tigers.
Kuhlka and Emmett Meissner led the defense in tackles, and Garrett Holland was the top tackler on special teams for Marshfield (4-2).
Marshfield will wrap up its season at Merrill on Oct. 6.
