Marshfield boys soccer shuts out Wausau West
Tigers now 3-3-1 in Valley

MARSHFIELD — Kevin Cassidy and Klaus Friedli scored for the Marshfield boys soccer team, which posted a 2-0 win over Wausau West on Monday at Griese Park.
With the win the Tigers finish a season sweep of West and improve to 6-5-3 overall and 3-3-1 in the Wisconsin Valley Conference. West drops to 4-6-1 and 2-4-1 in the Valley.
Cassidy scored off an assist from Friedli at the 27:30 mark, and Friedli added another goal off an assist from Luke McCann 20:01 into the second half.
Jared Klein had four saves in goal for the Tigers, who outshot West 16-5.
